What this site collects

This site is a static website with no forms, no analytics scripts, no advertising trackers and no cookies. The only data routinely processed is what your browser sends to the hosting provider when you load a page: IP address, user agent, request URL, timestamp, and referrer. These are processed by the hosting provider for the purpose of delivering the site and protecting it from abuse.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes server-side request logs as part of providing the hosting and CDN service. See Cloudflare's own privacy notice at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy .

Where you contact me via the email link on this site, the resulting correspondence is processed by my email provider and retained for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up engagement.

Legal basis

Processing of access logs as described above is carried out on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) in operating and securing the website. Processing of email correspondence is carried out on the basis of pre-contractual or contractual measures and your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) and (b) GDPR).

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You can exercise these rights by writing to [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde, dsb.gv.at) or another competent supervisory authority.
